Committee Decisions

Unless any IWL members express interest in leading the effort, we will not propose an
IWL-sponsored CLE at the 2014 ISB Annual Meeting.

IWL is co-sponsoring the May issue of the Advocate, and articles are due in March.
Jennifer Marcus and Vicki Olds (in coordination with Nicole Pantera) will lead the effort
to solicit and edit articles. In order to allow for timely and diverse articles, there will not
be a specific theme.

So far, our experiment of keeping a regular schedule for our educational events (third
Wednesday of the month), but alternating between breakfast and lunch time slots, has had
positive results. We have expanded the size and breadth of attendance. We will maintain
this schedule through May and revisit it then.

In order to make our educational events accessible to the chapters outside of the Treasure
Valley, we will make extra efforts to record these events and post them on youtube. We
are indebted to Parsons Behle for providing us the technical support to make this happen.
Michelle will serve as the point person with Parsons Behle to coordinate this effort.

We would like to apply for CLE credit for our upcoming educational events. The
coordinators in charge of each event will work on this.

Future educational event notices should include parking info.

After reviewing the various ideas submitted by the membership, the committee chose the
below topics for our Spring 2014 educational events.

Committee members who were not able to attend the meeting but who want to help
coordinate one of the below events should contact Wendy and Michelle.
