Reading
Please ensure you record all reading each night. It doesn’t always need to be the school reading book, it could be a library book, home book,
comic, recipe etc. so we can see the range of wonderful reading that happens in your home. Choose one book to complete the activity on the
right hand side of the reading diary each week.
Floppy’s Phonic reading packs will be coming home on Tuesdays for children reading on levels pink-orange. These will be due back in the
following Monday. Please put them in the homework tray in the cloakroom.

Parent Helpers
Mornings 8.50-9.15 – Would anybody be able to stay for half an hour after bringing your child to school to help children with their marking
corrections in their purple polishing pen?
Mondays – Each Monday we will have Gymnastics. I would really appreciate any help to get the apparatus out of the PE store and set it up
safely in the afternoon as this can’t be done at lunchtime because of the hot school meals.
Thursdays – We are looking for a parent helper to assist Mrs Butler with maths activities during the afternoon.
