Reviewed SHAPE document; made appropriate updates.

Discussion about inaccurate membership information – add this to weekly e-mail so members know they should update their contact information on CWSHRM website in preparation for renewals.

Bob and Kristi will audit QuickBooks and the website to compare membership information.

Discussed increasing membership fee for 2016 and making it one rate. Structure should remain the same (pay for the whole year), but suggest new fee of $150 for membership. New annual fee information will be announced in the November newsletter along with benefits to be a member. Motion to approve: Krissy Rodewald;

Also suggested some type of “penalty” for no-shows to monthly meetings. Last month we had 15 members who registered but didn’t show up. We discussed putting this in our weekly e-mail (9/30/15) and an article in the October newsletter as to how much it cost the

Chapter for those no-shows to encourage members to be more accountable.

Discussed sponsorships for 2016. Highlight sponsors in newsletters.

Krissy and Linda will work on coming up with a way to help promote the sponsors via weekly e-mails and newsletters; suggest getting their logos to put on Event Brite and other marketing pieces. Perhaps

2016 Officer Positions

Still looking for a Board member for Workforce Readiness and College Relations combined position. By-laws will need to be changed – Krissy?

CWSHRM Certification Luncheon – Krissy Rodewald

Many umbrellas to still distribute. Linda will think about the best way to distribute those remaining.

Higher education scholarship selection – This is included as an item on the Annual Calendar of Events.

Servant Leadership Opportunity – Possible partnership with the

Chamber – Krissy Rodewald will update. No update. DeAnn was going to work with the Chamber on this.

SHRM Foundation Impact Report – 2014

Linda has this report if anyone is interested.

HR Blog due October 1, 2015 – any volunteers?

Krissy will work on this – topic Enterprise Leadership grant program.

2016 Budget Planning initial discussion

Enterprising Leadership Grant – a kids “Shark Tank” type of program at D.C. Everest; Kim will coordinate this effort. She will tie this in with CWSHRM some way.
