Visit the ACE website for details in a number of languages. Financial Aid: We understand that every family enters into the admission process with different financial circumstances. Our goal is to make the cost of a West Nottingham education affordable for you, and we do so through a variety of ways. First of all, we offer several payment options for tuition and fees. Secondly, need-based awards are granted based on the availability of funds and financial information provided by our applying families. Now more than ever, we encourage you to take that first step to learn what options are available for your family. Some important facts to consider: • Approximately 40% of all WNA students receive financial aid • Financial Aid availability at WNA has increased substantially over the last several years. Books: Families should expect school books (ordered online) to amount to approximately $500 per year. Families interested in receiving a financial aid award must apply through the National Association of Independent School's (NAIS) School & Student Services (SSS). In addition to the application, families are asked to submit tax forms from the previous year for verification purposes. Please notify the admission office for additional information. Day student transportation fees: West Nottingham Academy offers daily bus service from selected surrounding counties. Details are available in the Business Office. Fees are assessed on either a one-way ($575) or two-way ($1,150) basis. Additionally, transportation is provided to/from the University of Delaware for our Skaters Program: one-way ($575) or two-way ($1,150). Airport Transportation (each way) Philadelphia $80 Baltimore $80 *Students arriving at airports other than PHL or BWI will need to arrange for private transportation. We believe that families are responsible for the support and educational expenses of their children to the extent that they are able. Any financial aid award comes after the commitment from parents and guardians - therefore WNA will consider the resources of both parents, regardless of the relationship between the two. If a natural parent has remarried, the resources of the stepparent will be considered as well. In the case of custodial and non-custodial parents, both must submit application to SSS. All financial information supplied by parents will be held in strict confidence. Awards are made on a yearly basis and applications to SSS must be completed each and every year a student is enrolled, and remains in good standing at West Nottingham Academy. Whenever possible, financial aid awards will be communicated at the time of acceptance.
