Conference excursion
The conference excursion to Tintern Abbey will take place on Saturday 18th July at
1.30pm, returning by 6.30pm. Coaches depart promptly from Corbett Road, opposite
the Music School. Conference stewards will guide delegates to the coaches.

Conference dinner
The conference dinner will be on Saturday 18th July at 7.30pm at Aberdare Hall,
Corbett Road, adjacent to the Music School. Places are strictly limited, and will be

Bursaries
Bursaries of £150 each are available to postgraduate and unwaged delegates. There are ten in total: five have been provided by
Cardiff University’s School of English, Communication and Philosophy, and five by the British Association for Romantic Studies. Please
see the Guidance Notes overleaf for further information.

Bursaries for postgraduate or unwaged delegates giving papers at the conference
Thanks to the generosity of Cardiff University’s School of English, Communication and Philosophy and the British Association for
Romantic Studies, we are able to offer up to ten bursaries of £150 each for eligible delegates who are giving papers at the
conference.
If you wish to be considered for one of these bursaries, please outline your situation below (in no more than 200 words). Applications
for bursaries will be judged on the quality of candidates’ abstracts and the circumstances outlined below. It would be helpful for us to
know the following:



