 You may start shooting for your project ANY TIME after your
theme has been approved.
 No bathroom shots, hand gestures or anything inappropriate for
school.
 Your pictures all must be themed, and ALL MUST INCLUDE YOUR
PROP – EACH PHOTO NEEDS A NEW PROP!
 EACH of you will shoot the following:
 5 Depth of Field: 3 Shallow & 2 Deep
 3 Color: Where color contrast consumes the photo
 2 Texture/Pattern: Where texture or patterns overwhelm
photo

another object
 2 Nose Room: Where subject travels toward the center of
the picture facing the center
 2 Subject Positioning: Where subject is off-center

details
 3 Leading Lines: Where converging lines lead into the
subject
 2 Dynamic Photo: YOUR CHOICE, correctly using two

 You will return to the room with 10 minutes remaining
 You will upload and delete photos from the camera at the end of EACH
CLASS period. Upload them to the google drive.
 ANYTHING LEFT ON THE CAMERAS CAN AND WILL BE DELETED!
 I will not write passes for ANY students still working at departure time
 Photos should be renamed as their composition type (in multiples,
name each 1 and 2 (EX – School Framing 1, Home Framing 2).
 The following day, when your computer is logged in, upload them to
your google drive at the beginning of the period.
 Allow them to upload while you shoot. Part III: Additional Examples –
ONE PHOTO IN EVERY CATEGORY MUST BE TAKEN OUTSIDE
OF CLASS. THESE WILL BE THE HOMEWORK FOR EACH WEEK!
I will check them as they are saved.
Part IV: INDIVIDUAL Portfolio– DUE November 3, 2015
 You will create a booklet of ALL of your photos according to a theme. It
may be physical or electronic.
 THEMES MUST BE APPROVED before shooting, and MUST be
unique. If you are considering ANYTHING that MAY be construed as
controversial, reconsider!
 ALL PHOTOS AND the BOOKLET must be constructed according to
theme.
 Put photos in ORDER OF RUBRIC.
 Creatively collect and display your pictures.
