In the last quarter the team has analyzed the
requirements for producing novel documentation
material in the form of screencasts. After examining
the needs and the strategic goals of the DUS
workgroup we have decided to produce a set of 12
screencasts by the end of the EGEE-III project.

An optimization problem of determination of the
probability of an elementary scatterer (carbon atom)
to belong to a nanostructure of definite topology and
definite size is solved for above-mentioned
nanostructures to interpret the results of x-ray
scattering by the films, deposited in the vacuum
chamber of tokamak Т-10, carried out at the
Kurchatov Institute Synchrotron Radiation Source.
The results revealed the role of small toroidal carbon
nanotubes in the observed diffraction pattern.

Finally further improvements of the SSB application
are expected, enabling the plotting of the numeric
status metrics as a function of time.
The group will follow up with the support of current
applications and accept new ones, and focus on the
strengthening of contacts that were made with ESFRI
projects during EGEE09, in the hope that some ESFRI
