AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
 Student will learn about articles and kinds of articles.
 Students will able to use articles.
 They will be able to differentiate definite and
indefinite article.
The three words ‘A’, ’an’, and ‘The’ are called articls .
Articls are of two types . Indefinitem and definite
article.

‘The’ is termed as Definite Article. It points out any particular
person or object,but not in general.

So, what is Article ?
The three words ‘a’ ‘an’ and ‘the’ are called articles, These are also
Demonstrative adjectives.
And what kind of articles
Articles are of two types . Indefinite Article and Definite Article
A or an is called Indefinite article. They do not point out any person or
object particularly. Such articles point out the nouns in general.
‘The’ is termed as Definite Article. It points out any particular
person or object,by not in general.

A is used before a word begning with
a consonant sound.
‘An’ is used before a word bening
with a vowel sound.
