An-ping Junior High School
An-ping Junior High School proposed a management goal of Blue Stripe
International School.
First, “Blue Stripe” means that a variety of multiple waters activities that we
have. In addition to the basic swimming and lifesaving courses in the swimming
pool, ,we also have courses like the westernboat, surf board and sailboat in the sea and
kayak in the canal. All those courses are officially approved sports in Asian games. So,
students here are very fortunate and special from other schools. They have the hefty
waters activities.
Secondly, An-ping JuniorHigh School is a “Sponge ecological” campus. This
Sponge campus includes all the exposed surface in this school, such as water
permeable bricks, grass and the red sand. As it rains, the Sponge campus would drink
all the water. The advantage is this school would own so abudant underground water
that the planting grows more better. This abudant underground water could lower the
temperature to 2-3 degrees than the neighboring areas. Teachers and students study
better in the temperature.
Besides, this school have a speciality, “reclaimed water reuse system.” Under the
first building, the water reservoir occupies as wide as seven classrooms, as deep as
140 centimeters. It can reserve 1000 tons of water. We use the rainwater to sprinkle
the grass in the whole campus everyday. That’s why the grass in the whole campus is
greener than other schools.
Students’ eyesight can be protected in this fresh green campus. The fresh green
also gives students a good ecological image. With the image and this environment,
teachers teach ecological courses and environmental courses. As for water, everyone
here brainstorm about how to do water-conserving and other usages of water.
As students grow up, we hope they can extend the knowledge learned here and
combine it with ecological environment protection. This way, the eco-campus idea
will become the speciality of An-ping JuniorHigh School.
