COLONEL ROBERT W. TRAYERS, JR. Colonel Robert W. Trayers, Jr., is the Chief, Operations Division, Headquarters Air Force Recruiting Service, Headquarters Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas. He formulates and executes all policies and procedures to direct recruitment efforts for enlisted members, line officers, health professions officers, and chaplains; and provides guidance and support to 3,700 people dispersed over 50 states, Puerto Rico, Europe, and the Pacific Rim. Colonel Trayers entered the Air Force in 1990 when he received his commission through Air Force ROTC. He is a Master Meteorologist. Colonel Trayers commanded the 330th Recruiting Squadron, Indianapolis, Indiana, and was the Deputy Group Commander of the 360th Recruiting Group, New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. Most recently, Colonel Trayers commanded the 439th Air Expeditionary Advisory Squadron, Kabul, Afghanistan.
