This hands-on, half-day session will explore the terminology we use to teach grammar, as well as introducing practical ways of making it relevant to children’s learning. The workshop is valuable for all teachers, English subject specialists and teaching assistants looking to build their confidence and expertise in supporting children’s use and understanding of grammar. As both a teacher and a Local Authority Advisor, Mary has specialised in staff development, creating top-quality training that’s rooted in classroom practice. She now supports schools and charities to develop children’s English through her company Three Bears Literacy.
