TRAINER
Communi-K, a consortium comprising of Serco and Tipik Communication Agency, is pleased to offer a range of positions for multi-lingual
professionals based in central Brussels.
LOCATION
Central Brussels;
EDCC – Europe Direct Contact Centre - a general information service provided by the European Commission - the executive body of the
European Union responsible for proposing legislation, implementing decisions, upholding the EU treaties and managing the day-to-day
business of the EU. DG Comm is the directorate responsible for all external communications. The requirement is to provide services for the
operation of the Europe Direct contact Centre.
EDCC main task is to answer questions from citizens and businesses on the European Union's activities and policies via telephone, email and
other channels.
Communi-K will provide coverage in all 24 official EU languages.
TRAINER – CONTACT CENTRE
The Trainer will be responsible for the design and preparation of training and coaching materials ;
Delivery of training and briefing sessions.
Train the trainer approach to support of Supervisor coaching activities
Training needs assessment and plan maintenance.
Training records maintenance.
New campaign support.
Management of training records.
Skills gap analysis through the review of performance reporting.
The Trainer will work alongside the customer to establish the most effective mechanisms for knowledge distribution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Trainer provides a number of crucial elements to supporting the EDCC activities:

Conduct classroom based training.

Develop coaching and training content.

Working directly with DG COMM.

Working in conjunction with the Reporting Manager.

Build and develop global and individual competence plans.

Maintain training and coaching records.

Skills management.

Preparation of training material to support new Campaigns.

Attend remote sites to train backup and “hot candidates” to ensure resilience.

Undertake staff induction management.

The Trainer is part of the EDCC management team.
EDUCATION
University Diploma, Master (5 years)
KEY SKILLS
Good knowledge of EU institutions, activities and programmes
Fluent English and French language skills with additional EU languages a bonus.
The working language of EDCC is English, proficiency is required to a good working level.
Minimum experience 2 years as a trainer
Proven experience in treatment of complex data and use of IT tools to extract, analyse and present data
SALARY
Negotiable depending on experience.
