The Vantage Career Center Board of Education has identified these qualifications as
being of particular importance for the position of Treasurer/Chief Financial Officer. The
Board seeks a candidate with excellent leadership and communication abilities who
possesses the highest level of personal and professional integrity.
*Holds a valid State of Ohio Treasurer’s license/certificate. Possess all qualifications as
specified in law.
*Knowledge of Ohio Revised Code as it relates to school finances
*Ability to articulate the district’s financial position and options to the Board, staff, and
public, and is able to efficiently and accurately forecast for the district’s future financial
stability.
*Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior at all times
*Looks forward to working with the Board, superintendent and staff to forge and maintain
a strong leadership team that is open, honest, respectful, and professional
*Maintains confidentiality in all job-related discussions and communications
*Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records required by law, district policy, and
administrative regulations
*Ability to develop financial analysis reports
*Previous School Treasurer/CFO experience preferred
