Manager Obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act
Overview
On 1 January, 2012, the new Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (OHS Harmonisation Laws) came
in to play. Putting aside the penalties, it is not good for anyone when injuries and/or incidents occur
in the workplace. Ultimately the goal for all organisations is to establish safer working environments
that protect people at work by eliminating, or better managing, health and safety hazards.
This eLearning program will help you and your organisation to reach that goal. This course helps
managers and employees with practical guidance on how their action can help keep workplaces
safe.
