POSITION TITLE:
eLearning Specialist (Temp to Perm)
REPORTS TO:
Director of Training
LOCATION:
St. Louis, MO
CLIENT: Our client is a fast growing leader in the manufacturing industry.
POSITION SUMMARY: Newly created eLearning Specialist position will partner with the Director of Training in
the development of eLearning coursework for leadership programs utilizing Articulate Suite, Camtasia and
Flash software.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:









Assess, design and develop eLearning programs.
Assist with the administration and management of Learning Management System.
Research, select and modify existing training programs, content and materials to meet learning needs.
Ability to assess content design approaches and make effective content design decisions given course
parameters.
Experience authoring content from scratch in collaboration with subject-matter experts.
Proficient in eLearning course authoring tools such as Articulate, Captivate, HTML, Dreamweaver, or
equivalent systems.
Understands the capabilities of course authoring and graphics software and applies this knowledge to
proficiently manage eLearning design projects.
Proficient with concepts of ADDIE.
Applies knowledge of the participants’ work environment when designing and developing training
material, activities and job aides.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:







Bachelor’s Degree
2-3 years’ experience with developing eLearning programs for people and leadership development.
Experience utilizing Articulate Suite.
Ability to work in a flexible, dynamic environment with multiple priorities that frequently change.
Strong project management skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Outstanding customer service skills.
