It was great to see our students return from their fall break refreshed, and ready for our next
quarter. Please read below about our coming events.
Parent Teacher Conferences Reminder
This week we have early release days with a dismissal time of 11:45 am for Grades K-1, and
12:05 pm from for Grades 2-4 on Monday, October 19 through Friday, October 23 for
Parent/Teacher conferences. These conferences are for parents only. Please make
arrangements for child care during your conference time. Students may not be left unattended
in the hallways, library or other school areas during your conference.
The Scottsdale Prep Spartans Invite Archway Scottsdale to their Football Game this Friday
On Friday, October 23, at 7:00 pm the Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Spartans have invited
our students and families to attend their football game versus Window Rock High School. The
game will take place at the Paradise Valley High School football field, located at 3950 E. Bell
Road, Phoenix. This will be an opportunity to support our upper school football team, and to
enjoy a great game together. Go Spartans!
Class Pictures and Picture Re-Takes, Tues., Oct. 27
Our classroom pictures will be taken on Tuesday, Oct 27th. Please have your child wear their
white, short-sleeve shirt with the Archway Scottsdale logo for the class pictures. In order to
display our school logo, please do not have your child wear a jumper to school on this day.
Individual picture re-takes will also take place on Tuesday, Oct. 27th. If you would like your
child’s picture retaken, please send the original picture package back to school. Please include
a note on the package of photos that describes what you did not like about them so the
photographer can try to correct any problem (i.e. no glasses or needs to smile, etc.) If your child
was absent on the original picture day, please send the order form and payment with your child
on Tuesday.
Early Release Day, Wed., Oct. 28
We will also have an early release day on Wednesday, Oct. 28 with a dismissal time of 11:45 am
for Grades K-1, and 12:05 pm from for Grades 2-4.
