FISHING FOR HABITAT RIVER STEWARDS:
A HANDS-ON TRAIN-THE-TRAINER WORKSHOP

Brazos River (north of Waco, downstream of Lake Whitney)
Join TPWD Inland Fisheries staff to:
 Learn about the River Lease Access Program
 Learn about riparian habitats
 Participate in a small plant and seeding streamside project
 Get tools and resources to teach others
After the workshop, all are invited to stay and fish the Brazos River.
Pre-registration required. Registration limited to 25 adults. (max of 2
representatives per fishing club.) Directions and workshop details provided upon

Post workshop Assignment:
 Give at least one club or community presentation
 Facilitate and conduct one group river restoration project or clean-up (free
seed packets will be provided)
