Dear Support Team,
April 2014
"I bow my knees before the Father, from which every family derives its
name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory,
to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so
that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you,
being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all
the saints...and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge,
that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who
is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think,
according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in
the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever.
Amen." Ephesians 3
We praise the LORD for His immense love! When we looked at our son,
Caleb in ICU, we never imagined that he would ever be able to walk and
talk again. We praise God for the healing thus far. We are also
thankful for the family of God. We thank God for your prayers, phone
calls, gifts, visits, cards, meals, housing and faithful financial
support. Every weekend our children travel up to Lincoln, NE (even his
grandma and Aunt Cheryl came once) to be with Caleb. The Madonna staff
recognizes the importance of family support in Caleb's progress.
On March 13 Caleb was discharged from Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital
and on March 19 he entered into the Madonna Rehab Day Program. His new
therapists' assessment of Caleb is to focus their attention on his
cognitive stability and not so much on his physical which has made
great comebacks, praise the Lord. The projected date for Caleb's
discharge is May 6. Caleb's will is to get back home, get back to
driving and work again quickly.
We praise the Lord for our family in Brazil. Our son Jeremiah and wife
Roberta faithfully care for the Bible and Bible study book ministry
and took off a week to help our son Enoch and wife Vanalda finish
building their house.
We praise the Lord for the Diego and Kesia Ramos family. Diego was
born in a little Brazilian fishing village and God called him to be a
fisher of men. Diego will graduate from Masters Seminary, May 11th.
Pray for them as they return to Brazil to proclaim the truth of our
Creator, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We plan on travelling out to LA
for his graduation.
