For over 20 years, our success has been built on delivering superior technology and impeccable security whilst focusing on meeting the needs of our clients FUNCTION Based in our Bangalore office and reporting to the EMEA, India Pricing & Bid Director, the successful candidate will have a minimum of three years project management or business operations experience ideally in the Audio-Conferencing, SaaS or Tele-communications industry. The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for assisting on pricing and proposals, representing Pricing & Contracts on cross functional projects and on large customer rollouts, assisting on implementation of new business processes and services, maintaining cost analysis spreadsheets and developing required proposal and pricing templates to support the Sales organization. The latter includes the use of Crystal reports. Key Responsibilities: Demonstrates strong commercial acumen in advising sales on best approach & assessing profitability of deals. Supports sales & sales management in day-to-day queries. Creates, maintains & trains sales in terms of processes, best practices and tools as appropriate to simplify and streamline the sales process. Supports the EMEA sales team in all angles of the quotation management process – including Pricing & Contract. Coordinates and completes responses to RFPs both in terms of informational content and pricing. Increases the focus on new clients, ensuring that the internal management team and all departments and individuals involved in the completion of the tender are aware of the client’s timescales and decision making processes. Gains a full knowledge of the company’s product suite and next generation products to make appropriate pricing decisions and to ensure that these are detailed in the presentation of bids where relevant. Creates & maintains contract templates as used across the EMEA customer base as well as coordinating on any custom negotiations. Assists on various cross functional projects - preparing various administrative reports and project plan updates as required in a timely manner. Performs ad hoc analysis for ‘go/no-go’ decisions on various new initiatives. Performs other job-related duties as required. Candidate Profile: Degree Level or equivalent in a business or related discipline. Ability to effectively prioritize workload to meet challenging and tight deadlines is essential. Ability to interact effectively and with confidence with Senior Management. Strong team player - promotes teamwork and provides support at all levels. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for this role. Must have be fluent in English Fluency in a second European language (preferably French or German) is desirable. Ability to succinctly define problems and create solutions effectively and efficiently. Familiar with Crystal reports functions and variables. Awareness of ASP.NET and SQL Server 2008 a distinct advantage. Excellent organizational, decision-making, problem solving and negotiation skills. Excellent Time-Management skills. Ability to produce high quality and timely deliverables within time constraints. Ability to work under pressure and deal positively with difficult situations is essential. Self-starter. Must be able to work proactively and independently and with little direction. Flexible and Adaptable. Accountable and trustworthy. Attentive to detail / accuracy of work. Analytical and numbers literate – previous budgetary / costing experience useful. Discreet – understanding the importance of confidentiality in the job. Computer Literate – MS Word, Excel to advanced level, Powerpoint, Internet and Email. Microsoft Access desirable but not essential. Ability to travel as required for business purposes.
