Recruitment Counselor Job Description:
 Recruitment Counselors attend training Spring 2015 semester, see below for dates.
 Recruitment Counselors must participate in a mandatory Retreat, held tentatively May 15 -16, 2015.
 Recruitment Counselors must be available during the summer to assist with New Maverick Orientation
 Recruitment Counselors must be available the week before Recruitment and during the duration of Recruitment
 Recruitment Counselors will assist with the marketing of Panhellenic and Recruitment through social media and
council hosted events
 Must be a team player and willing to work with fellow CPH, IFC, and MGC, NPHC officers, as well as F&SL staff,
constituent groups, and University Administration
Eligibility and Application Requirements
1. Have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA, women who fail to meet the 2.5 during the process will be removed
2. Must not have any major disciplinary issues with the Office of Community Standards.
3. Be in good standing wither their Greek fraternal organization
4. Must have participated in Recruitment as a member of your sorority
5. Must be dependable, responsible, objective, and impartial
6. Must be enthusiastic with a positive attitude towards all sorority experiences
7. Must represent the best qualities of a Panhellenic sorority woman
Required Dates
 Rho Gamma Training
o March 26, 2015- 6-8 pm
o April 30-2015- 6-8 pm
o May 15 -16 6pm – 5pm (overnight retreat)
o August 29, 2015 – Rho Gamma Work Weekend
 April 12, 2015 CPH Photo and Video Shoot






Attend at least 3 New Maverick Orientation Involvement Fairs and assist with CPH Marketing
Attend Welcome Week events, a full schedule will be given in May
Additional training dates and events may be added as needed, you will receive a full calendar of events in class
UT Arlington Rho Gamma Agreements
1. As an Rho Gamma, you agree to remain unbiased and Panhellenic in all dealings with the PNMs.
a. Your job is to provide information to the PNMs and to help them find the chapter that will be the best fit
for them.
2. It is your job and responsibility to work for the greater good of College Panhellenic by being impartial and fair
in your dealings with others. There should be no special information shared nor implication given to the PNM
about your chapter or its membership selection process/decisions.
3. If asked your chapter affiliation, you can acknowledge it, however indicating your role is one to be supportive
of all chapters on the campus. It is agreed that Rho Gamma’s should work if at all possible at all times in pairs
within their PNM groups as to alleviate any attempt by the PNMs to lead a Rho Gamma into specific chapter
conversations. Questions asked by PNMs that speak directly to a chapter’s specific activities or policies
should be directed back to the chapter or to a Panhellenic Exec member by the Rho Gammas.
4. You agree to be a woman of ethical behavior and to act in an ethical manner. Live the values as outlined in
the Panhellenic Creed.

5. There should be no direct connections or communication with your chapter and member group. This includes
but is not limited to the following:
a. You cannot attend chapter meetings, ritualistic functions, scheduled social events during the required 30
days that NPC advocates and also prior with the New Maverick Orientation summer and other campus
activities.
b. No assistance with recruiting – prior to the start of formal recruitment and during recruitment.
c. Cannot participate in tabling during summer and pre-recruitment activities.
d. No socializing with members of my chapter beginning May 15, 2015.
e. You cannot wear your organizational letters, jewelry, sportswear, etc. beginning May 15, 2015. Car
decals can remain on your car, although preferred to be covered if at all possible.
f. You cannot be in communication with members of your chapter, other students, alumnae and parents
regarding the chapter’s membership section process and decisions regarding a PNM(s).
6. Attend all trainings (dates are subject to change or additional trainings added)
7. Recruit potential new members during New Maverick Orientation, FSL hosted events, Welcome Week Events,
and Council hosted marketing events
