TEAM CODE OF CONDUCT AGREEMENT
As a volunteer member with Greatest Goal Ministries, I agree to comply with the
Greatest Goal Ministries Code of Ethics and Conduct during my period of service as a
volunteer team member. I understand that if I violate this code it can result in my
involuntary disassociation with my team and Greatest Goal Ministries.
1.
I agree not to engage in any of the following inappropriate behaviors that have
the potential to compromise the integrity of a Greatest Goal Ministries mission:
a.
Any behavior between genders that is considered ethically and/or morally
inappropriate regardless of whether the individuals are team members, staff, employees
of other organizations or host country nationals.
b.
Any behavior between genders and/or colleagues that would be considered
inappropriate in the workplace.
c.
Any behavior that would violate a Licensing/Certificating Board’s Code of
Professional Ethics or Scope of Practice.
d.
Any behavior that is or could be interpreted as harassment which includes but is
not limited to unwelcome conduct, whether verbal, physical, or visual, that is based
upon a person’s protected status, such as sex, color, race, ancestry, national origin,
age, disability, or other legally protected group status.
2.
I agree not to engage in any divisive or inappropriate behavior(s) or
communication(s), including but not limited to acts of insubordination or displays of
anger or impatience with team leadership, team members, those I am serving and other
humanitarian and/or government agencies.
3.
I agree not to engage in political activities of any kind or promote any specific
political agenda while representing Greatest Goal Ministries in a host country.
4.
I agree to remain at the designated site of the team, work within my assigned
capacity with the team and follow the guidelines of Greatest Goal Ministries as well as
the Greatest Goal Ministries Partner and other lead agency, unless otherwise
authorized by Greatest Goal Ministries.

5.
I agree to provide good stewardship and accountability of all Greatest Goal
Ministries property and resources, including but not limited to supplies, pharmaceuticals,
equipment and funds.
6.
I agree to obey the laws and respect the cultural traditions of the host country.
I understand that violation of any of the above codes may result in my dismissal from
the team and/or forfeiture of further participation with Greatest Goal Ministries. I agree
that if I am dismissed from a team, I will be solely responsible for any and all costs,
expenses or damages that I may incur as a result of my dismissal including, but
specifically not limited to, any travel or accommodation costs. I understand that I will
not be entitled to any refund whatsoever of these costs or other expenses related to the
trip.
