Dear Analysts,
The Dazzling Paint Company has been in the painting business for 10 years now, and we want to
expand the business to include not only the Borough of Manhattan, but now Queens. This would
mean that we would need to buy additional paint sprayers to start up a sister company in Queens.
With so many new models of paint sprayers available now, I need your analyzing expertise to
help me decide which type would be the best for our company.
The Dazzling Paint Company is a residential company that paints houses inside and out. We are
all women with built-up muscle power arms to be able to move these paint sprayers from one
room to the next, but the weight of the sprayers have taken a toll on our backs. Please consider
the HP (horse power), hose length, weight, dimensions, PSI (pounds per sq. in.), and GPM
(gallons per minute) when determining the order of “Best to Worst” for the different paint
sprayers. Unfortunately, each paint sprayer used varying gallons and minutes, so you will need
to calculate the constant of GPM before you begin (a separate calculating chart has been
provided).
When you write me back with your ranking from “Best to Worst”, please also describe the
process you used to determine this order. We already have some potential customers in Queens
lined up, so we need this information as soon as possible.
