Supervision over the implementation of the NFM 2009-2014, responsible for
ensuring expenditures compliant with the provisions on Norwegian Financial
Mechanism
Director of the Bureau of the Director General
With regard to funds coming from Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014
budget, implementation of tasks connected with preparing and carrying out
public procurement procedures for the Operator of the “Judicial Capacitybuilding and Cooperation” Programme and for the Project Promoters of
Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014
Director of the unit acting as Programme Operator
Implementation of actions connected with the role of the Programme Operator
within Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014

Carrying out control of the financial reports with respect to formal
requierements in order to certify the correctness of presented reports
Monitoring position
Monitoring of the achievement of objectives and outcomes of the Programme
within Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014
Information and Promotion position
Implementation of information and promotion activities on the Norwegian
Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 in order to raise awareness of the broad range
of recipients on the possibility of financing various undertakings within priority
areas of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism
Financial settlements position
Verifying the outcomes of the project and the expenditures declared by the
Project Promoters in payment claims whether they were actually incurred and
whether they comply with the Regulation on the implementation of the
Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 and the Programme agreement as
well as applicable provisions of national and EU law.
