OLD BUSINESS
a) Dave Bogart will update web site & post link fee rate schedule & send email to those most likely
prospects. - This has been tabled until September 2007. Steve Bridges will forward guidelines provided
by ASSE national.
b) Sharon Pleu will contact ASSE National Officer Central Jill Burgos 847-699-2929 x-3440
jburgos@asse.org at National ASSE for the Non-Profit Status certification.
c) Wesley Dukes needs the most current By-laws for posting on the web site. (MaryLou will email once
they have been ran by Terrie Norris)
d) Mary Lou will be sending out a summary of the meeting to the CCET for the Program Brainstorming
Session held at Monaco.

f) Officers and members are encouraged to bring door prizes for the General Meeting.
g) Starting in September 2007 the monthly General Meeting will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of each
month with the Officers Meeting held directly afterward at the Sizzler Restaurant. The Sizzler Restaurant
Manager has scheduled us for that block for the next year.
h) Dave Bogart & Wesley Dukes will continue to update and finish construction of the new web site.

OFFICERS REPORTS
a) President: Latest report submitted to National. Talked about ROC.
b) Vice President: Dissolution of Arrowhead Chapter. Thanks but no thanks for their money and what
goes with it.
c) Treasurer: Current balance as of 6/14/7 - $23,117.23
d) Member At Large: Present - no report
e) Secretary: Present- completed and emailed meeting notes, agenda and general meeting
announcement.
f) Government Affairs: not Present
g) Membership Chair: nothing to report.
h) Conference Committee Chair: Present & reported that the conference planning meeting had resolved
several issues and was moving forward as planned. See Conference Planning Meeting Minutes for
details.
NEW BUSINESS
a) Elizabeth Bartleson drafted a membership promotion letter and presented for at the meeting it was
approved. Steve Bridges will get mailing list data from Marilyn Dye then email officers with proposal by
7/1/7 for email and snail mailed to local businesses, SAIF, OR-OSHA, Liberty Insurance, etc.
b) Duane Grange report that House Bill 222 has been passed and is going through the House of
Representatives.
c) MaryLou will forward ROC1 Government Affairs information to Dave Bogart to help assemble tips for
putting together Government Affairs Advisory Group.
d) Duane Grange will write a hold harmless statement for inclusion in the Chapter By Laws.
e) Wesley will build a Web Serve Email Community where people can get information & connect with
others in the chapter for information.
f) Steve Bridges to print out new Meeting Free Lunch passes for the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
g) Installation of new officers is effective 7/1/7.
GENERAL MEETING
a) Roundtable Group Hot Topics discussion was moderated by Doug Caven.
ACTION ITEMS
a) Tell your friends and associates about the Safety Management System Elements Program.
b) Be sure to greet and meet new attendees at the general meetings.
NEXT MEETING
a) Next Executive and General Meeting at Wildish at 12:30 (lunch served from 12:00 to 12:30pm)
b) Larry Dennis, President, Turbo Leadership Systems, to provide a similar training session for the
Chapter Officers. He has graciously agreed to do this at no charge to ASSE. The meeting is scheduled for
Tuesday, July 17th (third Tuesday of the month) at the Wildish Corporate Office from 12:30 to 5:00.
Wildish will host a lunch from 12:00 to 12:30pm.
