OLD BUSINESS a) Steve Bridges will mail Membership Promotion Letter to local businesses. Looking at more costeffective methods of distributing the Chapter information out to the safety community. b) The Safety Management Series is going to require speakers for each session. The program chair will head this effort. Email speaker info to Gretchen Brannon after contacting prospects. c) Wesley Dukes, Mary Lou Wilson and David Bogart are working on a WebServe Email Community where people can get information & connect with other in the chapter for information. d) Executive team members to send bios, photos, and other information for website to Wesley by Friday
November 30. Sharon Pleu, Gretchen Brannon still need to update their bio & photo. e) Identify zip codes for our territory by Oct.31 st for submission to the Regional Operating Committee.
David Bogart will sort membership by zip code and send to Mary Lou. David Bogart to complete by
1/31/08 . f) Doug Caven and Chris Short will be looking at the STARS Report to determine how best to serve our membership. Complete by 2/19/08.
NEW BUSINESS a) Chapter to begin producing Newsletter bimonthly. First Newsletter will be sent out Feb.2008.
Newsletter preview completed by John Nagy by 2/15/08 . b) Wesley and David will look at the Website Promotional Policy from the Standard Operating
Guidelines, and determine whether this is something we want to do with the website. Completed by
2/19/08. c) Gretchen to locate and forward information regarding participating in Safety Day at Alton Baker Park in July to Steve Bridges. d) Gretchen to provide local business directory to Steve and Elizabeth to increase the distribution list for
Cascade Chapter promotion.

e) Steve Bridges to touch base with Sharell at Or-OSHA regarding putting ASSE brochures at the Logging
Conference.
