Clinical Experiential Learning
In order to broaden your knowledge and experience, Clinical Experiential Learning activities have been identified. These should be recorded in
the “Record of progress & feedback” section.
Please note that the principles of Good Scientific Practice should apply throughout.
Clinical Experiential Learning
Observe the reporting of routine respiratory and sleep
investigations and discuss the role of these investigations in the
relevant care pathway.
Attend outpatient clinics and/or inpatient ward rounds to gain
experience of the linkages between Respiratory and Sleep
Science and other clinical specialisms in the investigation of
respiratory diseases and disorders of sleep.
Attend outpatient clinics and/or physiologist-led clinics and
discuss with your supervisor the diagnostic pathways for
OSAHS.
