PARENTAL QUESTIONNAIRES 2013 In November 2013 you thought we could improve our school by: 1. 2. 3. 4. Ensuring that all Pupils have their first choice of meal options on the school dinner menu. We have liaised with DNS, who provide our school meal service, and we now have a wrist band system in place. Children are now able to order their food in the morning. To provide more rewards for pupils who follow our school rules regularly and always attend school. We have introduced The Assertive Mentoring Smilies system. All staff carry around Smilies and pupils are rewarded these for following our school rules and our five special words. Good attendance is rewarded for those individuals who stay in the green with 100% attendance. They all receive a Pizza and DVD afternoon. This is very popular with the children and a great incentive. Tougher sanctions for pupils who break the school rules. Linked to our Assertive Mentoring System we have introduced a good to be green card system. Pupils who receive a red warning are given a playtime detention. Detention letters are colour coded green, yellow and red. Those pupils in green at the end of the week receive additional smilies and stickers. To change playtime times to prevent KS1 pupils from being knocked over by KS2 pupils. The school sought planning permission to build an additional playground on the school grounds. This has now been developed further to include a role play area.
