Call to Order: Natalie Mee, President at 2:39pm. Announcement of agenda going in revised order for the purposes of completing elections due to the delay in meeting time for the athletic physicals meeting .

New Business: a.
Elections: i.
Treasurer: Jessica Smith gave a brief speech. Only candidate running. ii.
VP: Darci Warriner gave a brief speech as she was appointed to this position with the winning of the District bid for 2016. iii.
School Board Representative will remain Troy Kennedy and Chamber of
Commerce Representative will remain Natalie Mee. iv.
President: Rose Worrell presented a speech on the need to address bullying.
Natalie Mee presented a speech on how far the council has come, but more is still needed. v.
Mrs. Niver reported that another ballot was received after the deadline and that person would be placed in the vacated spots determined following the elections since the 2 nd place person for President had her choice of positions available. vi.
The Council voted via paper ballots. b.
Middle School Recruiting Day: The hope is to make it Tuesday during 8 th grade lunches to ask for members of student Council and Class Officers. c.
Dues to National and PASC: Jessica reported that the NASC dues need to be paid for $95 and the PASC state dues would arrive and needed to be paid. Bailey Fuller made a motion to pay both the national and state due to continue in membership. Mykayla Feil seconded it. No further discussion occurred. Motion passed unanimously.

Student Council Officers’ Reports: a.
President Natalie Mee reported that the pencils were in for supporting those taking the
Keystone tests. They will be distributed to homerooms next week. b.
Vice-President Riley Kitchen reported that she had nothing to report. c.
Treasurer’s Report: Jessica Smith reported that they raised $40 on the car raffle and had to pay $839.68 to Yankee candles from the fundraiser so the Council made $575 on the sale. d.
Secretary’s Report: Sarah asked the council to continue to check their school emails for the agendas and the minutes. The website is up-to-date with agendas and minutes as well.

Class Officer Reports a.
Freshmen: Nothing to report. b.
Sophomores: Nothing available. They are considering a dance for the middle schoolers for next year to fund their account. c.
Juniors: No one present to present. d.
Seniors: No one present to present.

Club Reports a.
Spirit Club: Cheyenne Patterson reported there was nothing new at this time. b.
FFA: Stephanie Leister reported that they are holding a chicken BBQ on June 7. c.
NHS: Mrs. Niver reported that they are having a chicken BBQ on May 14. d.
FOR: Mrs. Niver reported their delegate emailed that they were doing the Kindness
Chain. e.
Other Committees: No other groups reported.

Committee Reports a.
Class Competition: Sarah Huck reported that the excel sheet has been posted and the board updated. Freshmen are presently 1 st by about 40 points over the Sophomores and juniors who are tied. There is a request to pay $10 per student for the class competition award on June 12. President Mee stated the other option was $6.50 for just the movie ticket. Riley Kitchen made a motion to pay $6.5o per person for the movies on June 12 as the class competition award. Sarah Ingerick 2nded. The discussion that ensued revolved around how much money Student Council would have after this event and that there would be a need for another summer fundraiser to raise funds for homecoming. No further discussion occurred. Unanimous vote to pay $6.50 per person for the movie. b.
District Conference Bid: Darci Warriner reported she had created a picture design for the logo. She would be giving it to Sydney Spencer once the wording was accurate to have t-shirts designed. She needs to meet with Mr. Krick to set the date. Otherwise the next meeting for DC would be next week.

Spring Fling: Katey Pacific announced that the dance made a little over $20. She was disappointed more Student Council members did not attend. The dj will be used for
Homecoming next year as he was good and had great lights and a great price. d.
Staff Appreciation: They have given out Hand sanitizer, gum, and Swedish Fish. The
Breakfast was a success and the group received a “Thank You” note from Ms. Miller.
Tomorrow there will be cookie cakes for all of the staff. e.
Powder Puff: Camryn Keane reported that Power Puff would be May 30 th at 5pm.
Under the lights there was a hope for 4 games. They are seeking to raise money by getting permission from Booster Club to open the concession stand. Points need to be awarded to beat the teachers.

Old Business a.
Fundraisers: i.
Yankee Candles: IF you didn’t sell candles, please donate $20. ii.
Summer Pool Party: We will have our 2 nd annual pool party. We are contacting the pool to set it up. iii.
Chicken BBQ: The Council needs money for Homecoming. We will need to get in touch with Mr. Deats for a date. A chairperson is needed for this activity. b.
Coin Wars for Pennies for Patients: We raised $115. We need ideas for next year to make it better. Jessica Smith: Penny drive with negative on other classes. Branson
Watkins: Silver could count against other teams. We will decide more next year. c.
Constitution: The School board approved it at their last meeting. They effective date of our Revised Constitution is May 8, 2014. d.
Homecoming: The school voted on the theme. The winning theme with 44% of the vote is “Cities Around the World.” Fairytales was second with 23% of the vote.
