Austin Pearce PC Lab Booking Request









Booking AP PC Labs: University IT book Austin Pearce (AP) PC Labs for online teaching and exams for evenings,
weekends and vacation only. Semester bookings from 0900-1800 Monday – Friday must be made with the Timetabling
Office x2044.
The Teaching Period: The University Teaching Unit is 50 minutes, starting on each hour and finishing at 10 minutes to
the hour.
Access to the PCs: Weekend and evening entry and exit of the AP PC Labs is by Campus Card ONLY. To access an AP PC
Lab PC, each student must login, using a valid username and password. Group usernames and passwords can be
provided on request. We require advanced notice of at least five working days for this request. Also please ensure the
tutor for the teaching session has a valid username and password.
Group Login: Usernames Group login usernames are used for any student who is not a member of the University. Details
of the login information will be sent to you prior to the event. Group usernames will be closed at the end of the event.
Printing: If you require pre-paid credit for printing for the group usernames, please provide a project code. Printing is
credited at a minimum of £1 per username. No refunds are available.
Audio Visual Service: An OHP is provided in AP PC Lab 2. A data projector is provided in each AP PC Lab. Other AV
equipment required may be ordered via the AV team on x3073
Software Available: The PC software varies between the Labs. Please click here for details.
