Role Summary With a background in engineering and project delivery, you will be a key member of the Fuel Solutions team. This role within WPFS will be responsible for one of WP Group’s fastest growing and most exciting business units and will report directly to the Fuel Solutions Manager. Based from WP Group’s Heathrow office in Feltham or HQ at Fawley refinery near Southampton, the Lead Engineer will be responsible for the management and delivery of various fuel and tank cleaning related projects and the management of the associated engineers. The role will involve: managing multiple projects and associated budgets, scheduling of works, technical assistance to support sales teams, site surveys and sampling of fuel and lubricant tanks to produce a report on project performance to line managers and customers. Operational excellence is critical to WP’s people, customers, suppliers and reputation. Daily Responsibilities Effective leadership of engineers to ensure delivery of the required budgetary requirements, sales volumes, product, data integrity and other KPI commitments are exceeded. Understand your Delegation of Authority (DOA) level and act accordingly to ensuring compliance with all company systems, processes, conduct and ethics, including: HR, finance, procurement etc. Pro-actively work to continuously improve internal communication, building strong crossfunctional relationships particularly line managers and functions. Understand, develop and/or implement selected training in line with requirements of the industry standards.
