Course delivery
The course offers students introductory and inspirational lectures and laboratory sessions in selected course
sections in order to reach the course's objectives via the distance-bridging technology Adobe Connect and
laboratory sessions that take place on campus. Real examples are obtained via the placement. The course
examinations include an oral practical examination in nursing techniques that is introduced with laboratory
exercises. A report is produced with a literature search according to an evidence-based method, these sections
are compulsory. Before each compulsory section, the students should be well prepared.
Examination
Individual oral practical examination that includes nursing techniques.
Assessment of placement takes place in a two-party conversation between student and supervisor with the help
of assessment criteria.
The report is formulated with a scientific issue and is carried out with a systematic literature search according to
an evidence-based method.
Competence description and professional code of ethics for radiographers should stimulate and guide the student
in their ethical arguments in this course and further in the education. These sections are compulsory. Alternative
examination formats may be used.
Only one re-examination/transfer is given for the course in relation to the placement. If there are special
circumstances, additional retakes/transfers can be granted. Special circumstances are those stated in
Regulations of the National Agency for Higher Education HSVFS 1999:1.
