Kalakshetra Foundation is happy to announce short workshops in Dance, Music and Kalamkari
offered for Children and Adults during the upcoming Navrathri season.

CHILDRENS’ CAMP in DANCE AND MUSIC
Kalakshetra Foundation will be offering week-long camps for children in the Age group of 8 to
16 years in Dance and Music during the Navrathri Holidays
October 12th to 17th, 2015.
Timings 9am to 1pm.
Fees : Rs 2000/Subjects offered :
1. Dance - Bharatanatyam
2. Carnatic Music (Vocal)
The camp will include other activities such as sessions on Kolam, Traditional Games, Heritage
and more.
Children with some prior training (minimum two years) in dance or music may apply.

KALAMKARI WORKSHOP
Kalakshetra Foundation will be offering a week-long workshop in Kalamkari hand painting and
block printing for students and adults.
October : 12th to 17th, 2015.
Timings :
Batch 1 : 10am to 12pm
Batch 2 : 2pm to 4pm
Fees : Rs 3500/- including material costs
No prior training required to apply. College students and adults may apply.

This will be a unique opportunity for children and adults to come and experience the arts
within the exclusive ambience of Kalakshetra.
A certificate of participation will be provided on completion of the workshop for both the
above.
