Atopic Dermatitis Medicated Cream
Ingredients:
Cerave Moisturizing Cream 16 oz.
Campho-Phenique Pain Relieving Liquid 1.5 oz.
Topical Steroid Solution:
□ Fluocinolone 0.01% Solution 60mL
□ Mometasone 0.1% Solution 60mL
□ Clobetasol 0.05% Solution 50mL
Instructions:
1. Purchase 2 jars of Cerave cream and 1 bottle of CamphoPhenique without a prescription from your pharmacist.
2. You have been given a prescription for one of the above topical
steroid solutions. Please get this filled at your pharmacy.
3. Pour the Campho-Phenique and your prescription topical steroid
into one jar of the Cerave cream. Mix this up well with a spoon.
4. Label this Cerave Jar “Medicated”.
5. Apply the medicated Cerave to itching, red areas 2 to 3 times a
day as needed.
6. Apply the non-medicated Cerave over all the affected areas
regularly, even if not itching, at least twice a day.
