Dear Parents/Carers
SUN HATS
All children will be required to have a clearly named sun hat in school from Thursday 16th
April, due to warm and sunny weather.
If possible, these should be left in school, as children will be required to wear them at all
times during breaks and lunchtime when playing outside.
Children without a sun hat will not be allowed to play outside during hot and sunny weather.
School sun hats can be purchased from the school office at a cost of £4.50 per hat.
SUN CREAM
Sun cream will be available for all children throughout the summer months from 16th April
2015 and it will be applied to children during break times before going out to play outside.
A voluntary contribution of £1.00 per child would be greatly appreciated!
Please complete the consent slip below and return it to the class teacher together with your
contribution. Please indicate clearly on the enclosed slip if you do not wish the school to
provide sun cream for your child and indicate if your child is or may be allergic to the sun
cream provided by the school. An alternative cream, clearly labelled with your child’s name
and class, will be required from the parent/carer to be kept in the classroom.
