TOPIC (UNIT) TITLE V – OPTO-ELECTRONIC AND OTHER DEVICES
This course analyses the characteristics of various semiconductor devices. Emphasis is placed on the
fundamental physics behind operation of PN junction devices. The course covers analysis of a wide range of
semiconductor devices including power transistors and Opto-electronic devices. The course is accompanied
by a laboratory course to analyse and design circuits using the Semiconductor devices. The course forms the
DESCRIPTION foundation for all the electronic circuits
