Reminder that next week is the AGM.
Financial updates
£230 was received from the Leeds run. There is currently £14,137 in the bank.
It was agreed for FOSM to pay for the coach to take children to the pantomime.
A flyer will be distributed to let parents know about match funding in reception class. Julie
HeadTeacher request
Miss Leonard explained what outdoor development was recently funded by FOSM.
The latest request is to fund the Reception’s playground development. Miss Leonard will make some
enquiries.
It was agreed to have a board to display FOSM information on the gate where parents wait before
collecting children. Katie
It was put to the members about displaying to show what FOSM has funded in the recent years
including Selection boxes for Xmas; Easter eggs; Communion Cards; SATs party with BBQ;
Pantomime and/or coach; Ice lollies for sports day; Leavers presents; House points winner medals;
School trips or themed week (e.g. science week).
For the 50th anniversary Miss Leonard asked if we could fund commemorative medals or badges with
the school logo, which was agreed. Katie

People who want to be DBS checked gave their details so that Katie can send them the link to the
application form. Katie
The stalls on the night will be tuckshop , nails and tattoos.
Coffee room will be available for parents in year 4 classroom along with data forms and running
presentation.
Bernie and Sarah D. will restock on sweets. Bernie/Sarah D.
Text will be sent to parents to remind them to buy disco tickets.
Money to pay DJ and float will be collected by Katie. Katie
Mum and Dads Xmas stall – w/c 8th December
Sarah D. purchased all the presents. They need wrapping. Katie will send an e-mail to organise a
party to wrap the presents. Katie
Reception and Year 1 will have their stall next to their classrooms on Monday. The stall will then be
moved to the hall for the other years for the rest of the week.

Stalls:
1. Chocolate tombola – non-uniform day on the 21st November where kids bring chocolates – 4
tickets/£1 winning ticket ending with 5.
2. Bottle tombola – 4 tickets/£1 – winning tickets with 0 - donations required
a. It was suggested to ask Coca Cola in Normanton if they could donate – Matt to ask
as part of the usual requests. Matt
b. Unique colour tickets for each tombola
3. Baking – donations required

a. Andrew will do a shop online and will be delivered cold.

8. Treasure hunt: cartoon characters from a specific Disney film (max 20 characters) and

9. Biscuit decoration
a. Ginger bread or stars baked: Sarah D and Gemma G.
b. Cellophane and ribbon to wrap the biscuits.
10. Xmas Shop will be a festive novelty stall incorporation the jams and chutneys.
11. Letter to Santa – done via flyers in an envelope in book bag and a text. Katie
12. Xmas card decorated by the kids. Will be for next year.
13. Grotto
a. Santa has been invited Julies Dad, Julie taken outfit home to alter is needed.
b. Santa will meet the children outside under the pergola. Decorate the grotto with jar
and electric candles.
c. Chief elf: Miss Sweeney
d. Year 6 elves: Tia Bailey, Hannah Grosvenor, Lucile Firth, Lexie Rowing.
e. 3 Elves costums in cabin, Lucile has her own.

15. Face painting and Nails – 50p to £1

a. Theresa or Deborah to bring their Wii game.
17. Coffee Jar
a. Ask Year 6 to fill the jars with edible things.
b. Ask year 6 to sell the jars.

18. Other ideas
a. 3 Outside stall holders will be invited: phoenix cards, Katie’s butcher, Serendipity.

c. Plates and mugs to decorate and put in the oven to fix the writing/drawing.
i. Matt to buy plates and mugs. Matt
ii. Bubble wrap to protect the plates/mugs. Katie
iii. Mugs £2.50 Plates £2.50 surplus stock can be stored in cabin for Mothers
day etc.

indicate the fair.
