PROFILE
I am a professional translator and recent graduate from one of the most prestigious language schools, although I
also having important experience in both translating and interpreting. My native language is Russian, and that is
why Russian is my first “target language”. But since I have been living in France for more than 7 years, I am also
able to deliver quality translations into French. I specialise in a large variety of domains including international
organisations, government and politics, economics and marketing, the environment and ecology, education, history
and sociology, culture, art and art history, comic books, journalism, tourism and travel, and technology (electric
bicycles).

Notable projects to date:
 May 2008: Book Festival at Montpellier: consecutive Ru>Fr and Fr>Ru interpreting of public meetings
with renowned Russian writers Ludmila Ulitskaya, Zakhar Prilepin, Olga Sedakova and others.

As the Assistant Director, I was in charge of a variety of tasks including secretary and administrative work, website
and database management, the translation of educational programmes in literature, history, sociology and law, as
well as administrative and accounting papers, etc. I also occasionally interpreted meetings between French
professors visiting Russia and Russian professors, researchers and students. Given the regular turnover of directors
(I worked with three different directors), I assumed the director’s functions in his/her absence and had to inform the
new directors about all practical aspects related to running the college.
