There will also be a follow-up student orientation on August 25th for both students and parents. Details for this event will be mailed over the summer. 4TH GRADE SENDOFF PICNIC Fourth graders will have a special picnic on Monday, June 1st at Fair Park. Our PTO has been hard at work preparing to make our fourth graders final few days at C. H. Campbell memorable ones. Special events will include watching the fourth grade memory video, yearbook signing, lunch by Cocca’s Pizza, creating a sidewalk mural, and many more. 4TH GRADE CLAP-OUT Fourth graders will be clapped out of the building on the last day of school. I can't wait for next year so we can do lots of other exciting things in the library and computer lab. It is sad, but as the end of the school year quickly approaches we will soon be "closing" the library. All library books will need to be returned to the library the week of May 11th. All lost/damaged books will need to be paid for by the last day in order for you to receive your child's report card. Just because our school library is closing doesn't mean the students should stop reading! Both the Public Library and Barnes and Noble offer wonderful summer reading programs that provide free prizes. Please take advantage of these community programs. Thank you for your support and have a great summer! I can't wait to hear about all the books that the students have read. -Mrs. Hockensmith IMPORTANT DATES ON THE BACK DATES TO REMEMBER May 15 May 19 May 22 May 25 May 26 May 27 May 27 May 28 May 28 May 28 May 29 June 1 June 2 June 2 June 3 June 5 Student Appreciation 4th Grade Evening of Art and Music at the CHS auditorium @ 7:00 p.m. Volunteer Breakfast @ 9:00 a.m. Memorial Day- no school Field Day (Grade 1) 1st Grade Music Concert at the CHS auditorium @ 7:00 p.m. Field Day (Kindergarten and Grade 4) Kindergarten Music Concert at the CHS auditorium @ 7:00 p.m. Field Day (Grade 2 and 3) 4th Grade Middle School Tour (during school) 1st Grade Field Trip- Wagon Trails 4th Grade Picnic 3rd Grade Walking Tour of Canfield 4th Grade Field Trip- Oh Wow!
