Walk 1 - COPT HALL LOOP – 4 MILES
Starting and finishing at the Lion and Lamb pub, this easy walk heads
along the Flitch Way towards the Church, and then turns down by the
river. From here it passes through grassy meadows and along lovely
mown grass tracks by the edge of fields towards Red Barn. It then
heads back via Copt Hall to the church and return to the Lion and Lamb
for a well earned drink. All of the route has good footing, and there are
no stiles or obstacles so this is a pleasant a walk for all. The meadow is
cut for hay, so it is best to avoid the walk on a wet day near harvest time
when the grass is waist high, as you will get soaked. Please put your dogs
on leads as you get near Copt Hall as the footpath actually goes through
Copt Hall garden.

Walk 2 - THE AIRFIELD WALK – 4.5 MILES
Starting and finishing at Little Canfield Parish Church, the route heads
north over the A120 by Strood Hall to the disused airfield towards Little
Easton. It then loops back towards Little Canfield Hall, and returns to
the church. There are almost no roads, so it is a wonderful escape into
the heart of the countryside, but some of the paths may be uneven or
difficult to find at certain times of the year. It is best for people who
are good map-readers, and who have a great sense of direction.

Walk 9 Bacon End, Pharisee Green, Brands Farm and
Bury Farm – 4.5 MILES
Starting near Little Oddyns on High Cross Lane this 4.5 mile walk goes
towards Bacon End, Pharisee Green and then back via Brands Farm and
Bury Farm. There is a bit of road work at the start but it is well worth it.
There are no stiles but the crossfield section after Canfield Thrift
woods can be a bit muddy if wet. At the crossfield section when you come
out of the woods at Canfield Thrift, just turn sharp right when you go
over the bridge, follow the field edge for about 20 yards then at the way
marker post turn left and head straight across the field towards
Tanners. At Pharisee Green do not be intimidated by the gates. The
public footpath does run right through the premises.
