Resolving Ethical Dilemmas - Best Practices for School-Based SLPs

Abstract:

Ethics is a verb – it’s all about what you do and how you do it. Ethical issues span every aspect of our practice and can present dilemmas for practitioners at all levels of experience. This interactive session will address many facets of ethics focusing on the school setting, including how to respond when you think there has been a violation. Building on feedback from previous presentations and inquiries addressed by the licensure board, we have incorporated real-life scenarios. Please bring your concerns and questions to add to our discussion.
