Introduction
Table ts01 provides details on the full suite of radiocarbon ages from Round Pond core 2 (Figure
1). CALIB REV6.0.0, with calibration data set intcal09.14c was used to calibrate the
radiocarbon results to calendar years [Reimer et al., 2004].
1. ts01.docx Radiometric AMS Dates from Round Pond core 2
1.1 Column “NOSAMS Lab. No.”, unique number assigned to each date submitted to the
National Ocean Sciences Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Facility at Woods Hole Oceanographic
Institution, Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
1.2 Column “Depth”, centimeters below the sediment/water interface for each sample.
sediment/water interface.
1.3 Column “Material dated”, material from sediment cores submitted for ages.
1.4 Column “14C Age”, years before present (AD 1950) radiocarbon age.
1.5 Column “Age error”, standard deviation for radiocarbon age.
1.6 Column “Median”, calendar years before present median of the calibrated age interval.
1.7 Column “2σ range(s)”, 95% confidence interval(s) of calendar years before present age
ranges
1.8 Column “Prob.”, probability that calibrated age is in the relative area under distribution.
