Stanford Achievement Testing
April 12 – 16, 2010
Kindergarten (K5) through twelfth grade students will be taking their Stanford
Achievement Tests next week. Practice tests will be taken on Monday from 9:00 AM to
10:00 AM. Tests will be administered from Tuesday through Friday. All students must
meet in their testing classrooms at 8:00 AM sharp from Tuesday through Friday. I
understand that some children may feel anxious before testing; we do not want children
overly anxious, so help them relax by praying with your children the night before and
the morning of the test. However, remind them to do their best.
Classroom doors will be locked at 8:05 AM.
Late-comers will not be tested. PLEASE be prompt.
Late students must report to the school office where Mrs. Delia will let them know
where to wait for the day.
Please make sure your child is well rested and has a nutritious breakfast before coming
to school. Send the following with your child during the testing week:

Send two #2 sharpened pencils

A good eraser

A hand-held sharpener (NOT electric)

Healthy snacks to eat during breaks (NOT while testing)

Pre-approved library books to use during breaks (NOT while testing)
Children are not allowed to bring portable games, music devices, magazines or books
from home during the testing week.
Thank you for your cooperation,
Cindy Morales
