Who wants to travel to Spain and Italy right after school ends, June 14-21, to visit
Barcelona, Florence and Venice? If this sounds like the trip for you come to Mrs. Allen's
room, 2106, on Tuesday, Sept. 1 during lunch or right after school at 2:30 to ask questions,
get more information and a detailed itinerary
There will be a mandatory interest meeting for any girls interested in playing basketball
today from 2:30-3:00 in Coach Daly's room #2208.
Current NHS members! We need 3 more concession workers for the football game Friday.
Come by Mr. Zappia's room (2229) to sign up if you can help.
Students who already have a Lunch Pass DO NOT need a student I.D.
New students and students who did not have their pictures taken last year will have the
opportunity to get their I.D. cards in September. Until that time students will need to make
sure they know their Student I.D. Number. This number will be required to gain access to
your class if you are tardy starting on Thursday.
The first Anime Club meeting is today in room 2120, after school 2:30 to 3:50.
Cary High Young Republicans will have an organizational meeting Tuesday, September 1st
during SMART lunch A-B in Mr. Page’s room – room 406.
The Speech and Debate Team invites everyone who would like to join to attend an interest
meeting today in room 1013 from 2:30-3:30.
Attention All Seniors: We are placing the final order for Senior tee-shirts. If you would
like to order one, see Mrs. Cooper at lunch or after school in Room 1012 by September
4th. The cost is $16.00, in cash or a check made to Cary High
Anyone interested in being a member of the Stunt Team in the Spring season, come by
Mrs. Troxler's room during Smart Lunch on Tuesday, September 1st!!!
Girls, don't forget to sign-up to play Powder Puff football! The game will be held Friday,
September 25th. Sign-ups begin, Tuesday, September 8th on goimps.com. (only first 30
girls per grade). +Powder Puff also needs coaches, 5 per grade. We also need male
cheerleaders. Don't worry guy's, you will be taught some cheers! Both coaches and
cheerleaders need to sign-up on goimps.com, beginning Tuesday, September 8th.
Anyone interested in playing baseball this year should attend an information meeting today
during SMART Lunch. The meeting will take place in Coach Yerger's Room, 2132, and we
will be discussing off season workouts.
Film Club will meet at 2:30pm on Tuesday, September 1 in room 2121 to discuss plans for
the upcoming year. Current members are expected to attend and students who may be
interested in joining are also welcome.
Attention Juniors and Seniors: Anyone interested in applying to be a part of National
Honor Society needs to attend an informational meeting after school on September 1st in
the auditorium. You must attend this meeting in order to apply. Talk to Mr. Zappia or Mr.
Rosenburg before the meeting if you know you will not be able to attend but still wish to
apply. For returning/existing members. There will be a meeting after school on September
3rd in the cafeteria involving general information.
NEW:
There will be an alpha beta meeting on Monday, August 31st during A lunch in room 1019.
All current members must attend.
GSA will meet Tuesday at 2:30 in room 206. All current members and those interested in
joining GSA are invited to attend.
The FCCLA will have an interest meeting on September 1st in room 201 during Smart
Lunch. Bring your own Banana for Banana Splits and to learn about this leadership
club. See Mrs. Hinz in room 201 or 304 if you have any questions.
Anyone interested in joining the Hispanic Club, please meet on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 2:30 in
room 202.
