Entries will not be accepted on Show Day. Judging will begin at 10:00 am. All Stock entered in the Cattle Classes
must be on the Show Ground half an hour before judging and must not be removed before 3.00 pm unless by prior
arrangement with the cattle stewards.
CLASS 37 - Best Native Beef Breed bull
CLASS 38 - Best Native Beef Breed female (born before 31st December 2013)
CLASS 39 - Best Native Beef Breed Maiden Heifer (for females born on/after 1 st January 2014)
CLASS 40 - Best Butcher’s Steer: Division – Lightweight
CLASS 41 - Best butcher’s Steer: Division – Heavyweight
CLASS 42 - Best butcher’s Heifer: Division – Lightweight
CLASS 43 - Best butcher’s Heifer: Division – Heavyweight
CLASS 44 - Best pair butcher’s Beast – open to commercials & natives
All Native Beef Breed entries must be registered in their respective full Pedigree Herd Book. Pedigree certificates
must be available on show day.
Entries in classes 40-43 will be weighed at the Showground on arrival. Divisions will be made as equally as possible
by the stewards. This will be dependent on the number forward and the weight on the day.
We reserve the right to amalgamate classes if insufficient numbers. Under current DEFRA regulations, Flintham
Show is exempt from requirements for pre-movement TB testing for one or two yearly tested herds as cattle are on site
for less than 24 hours.
All exhibitors will receive £20 appearance money on completion of the Judging.

Entries will not be accepted on Show Day. Judging will be at 11.00 am and is open to any breed or cross breed. ALL
sheep must NOT be trimmed - this rule will strictly enforced
CLASS 46 For the Best Pen of three breeding Ewes
CLASS 47 For the Best Pen of three Gimmers, with not more than 2 broad teeth
CLASS 48 For the Best Pen of three Butchers Lambs
CLASS 49 For the Best Pen of three Cross Bred Ewe Lambs suitable for breeding
CLASS 50 Ram Class, any Continental breed six months and over
CLASS 51 Ram Class – any non-Continental breed six months and over
Note: Lambs to be shown in one class only, either 48 or 49.

Health and safety Regulations
The Flintham and District Agricultural Society have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For
these measures to be effective it is essential that all present take proper precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. Instructions of officially
appointed offices and stewards must be obeyed at all times. Exhibitors are responsible for keeping their animals under complete control. All
animals are to be disease free. Everyone bringing moving machinery/animals on to the show ground must have adequate insurance. A copy
of insurance should be available for random check.
