crude rates: per 1000 women in fertile age (15-49 year
old); per 100 live births.

The main users of data on abortions are politicians, State
and municipal authorities and agencies, health care
specialists and institutions, international organisations
(WHO), the media, the researchers and students.
User satisfaction survey is planned for 2016.
All indicators of abortion are published. Data is
published on the level of administrative units (counties
and municipalities).
100 per cent of information produced in accordance
with the Official Statistics Work Programme is
published.
Data on abortion could be assessed as accurate enough.
Some number of abortions could be missed due to
underreporting of health care institutions. Reporting rate
is 77.2 % (only private health care institutions are
among not reported ones). Only 2.7% of reported
private health care institutions are dealing with
abortions. Usually private health care institutions are
reporting small number of abortions. Therefore, it is
estimated that about 4% of abortions could be
underreported.
