projected budget, you will receive money in the CCFC account box.
Only 13 of the roughly 25 active clubs turned in proposed budgets for this year.

The more details you can provide regarding a budget request, the better. Please plan to spend all the money you
request.
Motion
The General Assembly would like OCCA and the Student Association to restore last year’s CCFC funding to
the 2011/2012 level with a clear process to obtain more funding than $69,000.00 and keep the CCFC funding at
that level.

Nancy Carr, Director, Disability Services Office
Nancy explained that her program helps clubs with members who might need any help. Please send her an
email if you wish to have her services. She provides student services and help in classroom and clubs.
Her email: carrn@sunyocc.edu
William Bryan, Associate Vice President Student Development
Bill asked that all read and be familiar with the Student Association By-Laws and Guide to Funding documents.
He told the assembly that you have an opportunity to participate in out-of-classroom experiences to support the
classroom experience.
He would like the process to request more funding for Clubs well defined, publicized and user-friendly.
He also encourages transparency and student participation in the decision making process.
Please come to these meetings with ideas for the “whole” student body.
New Business
Sarah is asking all to examine a possible increase in food budget for clubs. She feels $175.00 is too little.
This will be brought to the Executive Committee Meeting on Monday 10/1/12.
Meeting adjourned 12:15 p.m.
Next meeting: 10/22/12
Respectfully submitted,
Theresa M. McHugh
