This article is interesting to me because it has different sub categories such as self-diagnosis and types of happiness projects. It has interesting examples. My favorite thing about this article is it is recent and for the 20th century, it is very credible. Winward, Kent. This article is a scholarly article where Will Smith the main character of The Pursuit of Happyess is discussed. Arguments include, what happiness truly is with examples from the movie overall. One of the most interesting things about this article was Winward expressing, “MONEY = HAPPINESS,” which was his point of the view of the movie, The Pursuit of Happyness. Winward has an interesting point of view and even has statistics in this article. Overall, he takes a blunt stance on how he feels about happiness. Hatch, David. "The CQ Researcher Online." Charts, statistics and numerous television programs are the focus. I love the fact that this article has a chart that has different methods of media on it and that not just one type of media is discussed. Also, one of the main focuses is how the media can shield society from certain topics. This journal by Levy focuses on families and how there are different types that are portrayed in the media and in films. Peer reviewed. I like that this is a comparative article with families. It is interesting because in both Far and Away and The Pursuit of Happness there are different types of families presented – this can prove useful towards my paper.
