Relationship to mission and strategic plan of institution, and/or college and department goals and objectives: The deletion reflects our department’s mission to prepare educators who are agents of change. Rationale: Graduate students are no longer required to take this course for licensure in special education. Therefore, enrollment numbers do not justify offering the course. In the past the course was dual listed with SPECED 426; however, the department wishes to change 426 to a 300 level course to better meet the needs of students’ licensure rotation needs. The university does not allow 300 level courses to be cross listed with graduate level courses. 3. Cost Implications: none 5
