White Mountains in New Hampshire

Where in the Northeast is this beach?
Cultural
The Northeast is predominately Catholic, but also
has the highest Jewish population. This is mainly
due to the influx of people who immigrated to the
United States from other parts of the world like
Ireland, Italy and Quebec.
This is the smallest region of the five, but did you
know that the Northeast has some of the largest
cities?
NYC, Boston, Philadelphia and our nations’ capital
all are part of this region!
With some of the largest cities, this region also
contains a considerable amount of farmland.
Vermont is known to have more cows than people!

New York City is the largest city in the country with a
population of 8.2 million! Urban living in these large
cities provides an enormous amount of entertainment.
Levittown was one of the first communities built after
World War ii, creating hundreds of neighborhoods in
suburban New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Farmland in the Northeast runs rampant through Rural parts
of upstate new York, Pennsylvania, Maine, Vermont and New
Hampshire.
