Tuesday March, 13. 2012 Dear Neve, Did you enjoy the Northeast? I enjoyed it. I learned that in the Northeast that there are all different climates. It is very pretty in the Northeast. It is also has cities and countries! But I am a city girl, just to let you know. I visited, Maine! Maine was fun. In Maine I learned that the West Quoddy Light House is there. It is still in use today! Also, it is the most eastern spot in the USA! Maine is a very rocky area. It is very dangerous. I also visited New York City, NY! I liked it because there are cities in New York “City”! Get it! I also learned that it is the largest city in the USA! There are also many different cultural groups living there! Lastly, I liked, Hershey, PA!! I liked it because, obviously, I love chocolate! Did you know they produced the 1st mass produced candy bar! Cool! Right!? I learned that, West Quoddy Light House is there. And that it is still in use today! I also learned that, Mt. Washington, New Hampshire, is one of the widest places on earth! Then, I learned that, the Declaration of Independence was written in Philly, PA! But the colonies no longer wanted to be a part of Great Britten. Lastly, I learned that The Hershey Factory in Hershey, PA, They produced the 1st mass produced candy bar! Yummy!! What I thought was memorable was going to the Hershey Factory and eating Hershey Kisses all day. Also, I thought it was cool that we got to go to New York City and see all the cool skyscrapers. I hope you enjoyed your trip to the Northeast. I know I did. How you enjoyed my letter about the Northeast. Sincerely, Ruby Schwartz
